My name is Sukhwinder Singh Hayer, and my desire was to introduce Indian cuisine and culture to Italy.
Fortunately, everyone embraced it, and today I am in Alessandria with my restaurant, prepared to provide a distinctive experience.

My career as an Indian restaurateur started in 2005 after I realised that people valued Indian food and culture through my participation in multicultural food stands.

From there, I understood that I could really bring India into people’s hearts with food and culture. In 2009, I opened my first restaurant in Novi Ligure after taking a course in catering in Genoa and having been certified as a professional in the sector, as well as obtaining the qualification to open a catering business.

We made the decision to move our restaurant operation from Novi Ligure to Alessandria in 2012. So we closed down the restaurant in Novi Ligure and embarked on a new adventure.

On March 16, 2013, our new restaurant was inaugurated in Alexandria.

In recent years, I have had the opportunity to improve my experience as a restaurateur and a chef by conceiving and creating new Indian dishes.

In my restaurant, it is possible to taste all the goodness of India, appreciating not only the cuisine but also the atmosphere. Every single detail of my restaurant, from the mise en place to the fittings, comes directly from India.

My heart is always in India, but my culture and cuisine are here in Italy.

In addition to the restaurant, I have decided to explore the possibility of bringing India elsewhere by offering catering services, home chefs, Indian-themed events, private parties, and corporate parties.

All my services are made to bring a piece of India to those who want to know or relive it!
